2024 Mushing Camps for Kids!
Session One: July 22-26  GIRLS ONLY, Ages 10-14
Session Two: July 28-31  Boys and Girls, Ages 8-12

Click here for 2024 registration form.

"Mushing Camp for Kids" is designed for kids who are comfortable being away from home for an extended amount of time. The accommodations at Musher's Village are comfortable yet remote; there is a cabin and yurt but there is no electricity, running water, cell phone service or communication with parents/family during the stay.  Mushing camp for kids is an awesome way for kids to be immersed into sled dog life, camp fun, and hanging out in the UP!  There is separate lodging for boys/girls and plenty of space if kids want to bring their own tents. Activities include learning about teamwork, assisting with kennel chores, meeting all the sled dogs, free walking dogs, ATV rides, cooking and games.  Kids help prepare all meals, do camp chores, and are involved in every aspect of camp.  Camp is limited to 10 campers.  Tasha and staff lead all camp activities and stay overnight with the kids.

Cost:

Session Two (girls only-four nights/five days) $850

Sessions One and Three (three nights/four days) $700

$350 is due as deposit upon registration.  There are no additional fees or a "camp store" so please do not send money to camp with your child. No electronics of any kind are allowed at camp.  Tasha will have cell service and will post photos daily and can be reached in case of emergency.  Check-in is at 2 pm at Musher's Village on day one and pick-up is at 1 pm at the same location on the last day of camp.  More information and details will be provided upon registration.
