Adventure Journals Welcome to the Nature's Kennel Dog Blog!  Check out the latest kennel news, stories of your favorite sled dogs, Iditarod training adventures, and more!   Thursday, January 19th, 2012 I’ve come to the conclusion that Facebook is just way to easy…so easy to post, so easy to upload photos, and so easy to ignore the journal!!  So, here’s a wrap up of the past few weeks: Tahquamenon Race…thanks to all who participated in our race package, Amanda, Anna, John, Kathy, Pat, and Ken.  You were all AWESOME first time mushers.  We’ll definitely offer the race package again next year as it was very successful not only for our kennel but also for the race. Tours…things are going strong here at our kennel at Boyne Highlands.  After a slow start to the winter season, we are in full swing now with a lot of snow and our great guides.  Winter is finally here!! Royal Canin…and a big thanks to Royal Canin Dog Food for their major sponsorship.  We LOVE the food, and Ed is very excited to put it to the test in Iditarod this year.  The dogs received their new Royal Canin dog jackets to wear along the trail so they’ll be warm and cozy at all the checkpoints.
