Thursday, August 18th, 2011 Sorry for the delay in information...Ed is back from South Africa and had a fabulous time. He said the people, country, mushers, wildlife and adventure was absolutely amazing. He’s ready to return and it was a great experience for him. We are knee deep in puppies around here, quite literally in fact, as we have 52 pups under 18 weeks old!! They were all planned litters and with each female having large, successful litters. Luckily we’ve had a good deal of kennel visitors the past few weeks to help with socialization and puppy holding. Nate prefers to pour water on them and make mud for them to stop in rather than cuddle and hold them! We take a few puppy walks each day to tire the oldest ones out, and spend lots of time near the littlest babies.
