Half day, Full Day and Moonlit Adventures
DRIVE YOUR OWN DOG TEAM or Take a Ride in the Sled!
Our day trips give you the opportunity to drive your OWN dog team on a 10 mile loop, 20 mile loop or to ride along with a friend. Our night trips are rides only.  Each trip also includes a kennel tour, brief instruction and a guided sled dog adventure.

NEW! Full Moon Rides!  Sled dogs LOVE to run at night, so here's your chance to ride along on a moonlit winter night! Our full moon rides take place at night on selected winter evenings. This is a RIDE ONLY. Your guide will drive the sled (using headlamp if necessary) as you snuggle in the sled while the dogs cruise down the winter trail. Your "midnight" ride includes a stop along the trail for hot chocolate and a chance to experience the magic of a full moon on a winter night. Cost: $200 per sled. Our sleds accomodate up to two adults or an adult and two children. Full Moon Rides begin at 7:30 PM. Available dates: December 20, 21, 22. January 18, 19, 20. March 16, 17, 18.

Mini-Drive #1 Half-Day Trip.  Meet the incredible Iditarod sled dogs of Nature's Kennel! You'll receive a kennel tour, a chance to hold the adorable puppies, and the opportunity to drive your OWN dog team on our 10-mile loop. Drivers must be over 8 years old. No experience necessary as you will be under the care of one of our fabulous, experienced guides. Allow approximately 3 hours.
Cost: $150 per person. It is possible to add a rider to your trip, cost for RIDE ONLY is $75 per person. The rider will ride in the GUIDE'S sled.

Mini-Drive #2 Full-Day Trip.  Meet the incredible Iditarod sled dogs of Nature's Kennel! You'll receive a kennel tour, a chance to hold the adorable puppies, and the opportunity to drive your OWN dog team on our 20-mile loop. Our trip will include a stop along the trail for hot chocolate and a snack. Drivers must be over 8 years old. No experience necessary as you will be under the care of one of our fabulous, experienced guides. Allow approximately 5 hours.
Cost: $275 per person. No riders allowed on this trip.

Day trips generally take place on weekdays, however there may be some weekend availability. Current available dates over the Christmas Holidays include: December 18, 19, 20, 26, 27 and January 1,2
