New---Women's Summer Camp! August 16-18. All the fun things of kids camp, but for adults only! Dog loving, ATV riding, wine tasting, and a pontoon ride! Email Tasha for more information info@natureskennel.com. $750 per person, all meals and lodging included.
"Mushing Camp for Kids" is designed for kids who are comfortable being away from home for an extended amount of time. The accommodations at Musher's Village are comfortable yet remote; there is a cabin and yurt but there is no electricity, running water, cell phone service or communication with parents/family during the stay. Mushing camp for kids is an awesome way for kids to be immersed into sled dog life, camp fun, and hanging out in the UP! There is separate lodging for boys/girls and plenty of space if kids want to bring their own tents. Activities include learning about teamwork, assisting with kennel chores, meeting all the sled dogs, free walking dogs, ATV rides, cooking and games. Kids help prepare all meals, do camp chores, and are involved in every aspect of camp. Camp is limited to 10 campers. Tasha and staff lead all camp activities and stay overnight with the kids.
