  • Adoba Hotel, Naubinway, 906-477-6347—a great family owned boutique motel in Naubinway along US-2. 25 minutes from Nature’s Kennel, a great location if coming from lower Michigan.

  • Chamberlin's Ole Forest Inn, Curtis. 906-586-6000 - a very unique bed and breakfast located on Big Manistique Lake with restrauant on site.

  • The Pleasant Moose Hotel, Newberry, 906-762-1000—a newly renovated hotel in Newberry with large breakfast included.  Ask for dog sledding discount. 

  • Helmer House, McMillan, (906) 586-6131- newly renovated bakery and bed and breakfast, excellent food and close to Nature's Kennel.

  • Pine Bluff Resort, McMillan, (906) 586-6950—home/cabin rentals on Big Manistique Lake.  Great for larger groups.

  • America’s Best Value Inn, Newberry 906-293-4000—located near Newberry, breakfast included, indoor pool and hot tub.

  • Dave and Debbie Rogers, McMillan 906-293-6116—nicely furnished private rooms with outdoor entrances in a private motel, very close to Nature’s Kennel.  Very affordable and great hosts. 

  • The Inn at Lake and Randolph, Grand Marias, (906) 494-2299—beautiful inn with great food in downtown Grand Marias.  

  • Halfway Lake Resort, Newberry. 906-869-0098 - fully furnished cabins on private lake, open all year, 8 miles from Nature’s Kennel.

  • Vacation Rentals: There are several Airbnb/VRBO homes and cabins for rent in the area.  We suggest searching in the McMillan and/or Curtis areas as most of those are within 30 minutes of the kennel.  There are also many rentals in Grand Marais, which is a beautiful small town on Lake Superior, about an hour from the kennel.
